This is a new specialised course fully accredited and recognised by “The Guild of Beauty Therapists” now available for the first time for level 3 beauty students. This course consists of theoretical study as well as practical demonstration and is dedicated to highly-motivated students. It comes with an excellent set of manuals and full support during the course by a medically trained lecturer. Ultrasound has been used in medicine since the 1940s. Its safety, precise control and excellent predictable results have made ultrasound an important addition to cosmetic practices. Some of the results can now be observed in rapidly emerging new technology using ultrasound for skin rejuvenation – offering incredible results without pain, anaesthesia and down time. Ultrasound not only deeply exfoliates the epidermis, increases penetration effectiveness by up to 4000 times more effective than applying by hand, increases collagen and elastin production but also repairs damaged cells, breaks fat, controls pigmentation. Ultrasonic action helps to slow down the signs of the ageing process, one element that cosmetic surgery CANNOT do. Dramatic results are felt and observed even after the first treatment. Ultrasound offers important new dimension in the beauty industry offering many non-invasive new treatments which are safe with no pain or side effects and suitable for most people including those with sensitive skin.
