The top layer of the Stratum Corneum consists of dead skin cells that continuously shred, allowing the formation of new cells. As we get older, this process slows down dramatically leaving the top layer of the epidermis showing lines and wrinkles. Microdermabrasion is the simple and effective process that mechanically removes the stratum corneum combined with vacuum suction. Remove the epidermis cells collected on the cotton filter to be disposed of. While the diamond tip performs the exfoliation the vacuum suction takes place and stimulates the lower fibroblasts and collagen production. Microdermabrasion is a non invasive treatment designed to improve the overall texture, tone and clarity of the skin while restoring the skin’s colour and elasticity. It smoothes out, refreshes and regenerates the skin. It is recommended for many skin types regardless of age and epidermal damages.
