Q. Prices - What makes our courses special? FREE DVD's
Our courses are priced to be affordable for all. We offer smaller classes, making sure you get individual attention from the tutor.
For all courses you attend by Natural Therapy Studio & Natural Massage Studio.
Each student will receive an excellent course training manual, emailed prior to course date. This covers the course material and all techniques you will learn on the day. This makes it easier for you to remember the routine without having to make notes on the day. After the course training day, you are required to practice on family and friends until you are confident you’ll be able to give the massage / therapy both safely and effectively. We make sure you gain enough practice on the training day to remember the technique.
Courses have question to be answered before the course. This requires some pre course reading of the manual.
Our tutors are always available by email or phone if you need aftercare and help after your practical training day.
Many students, who have attend our courses, would not change anything about the training day. See course testimonials below.
Our courses are registered and accredited with the CMA - (Complementary Medical Association), ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists), PBD (Professional Beauty Direct), The Guild of Holistic Therapists and the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists. This allows you to obtain insurance and practice on the general public and be able to charge in the UK
Our One-Day Diploma Courses are ideal for beginners to start as a therapist or for experienced therapists to offer another popular therapy to their clients.
Therapists can also gain CPD points (Continuing Professional Development)
On our courses you will receive a Natural Therapy Studio Diploma on completion of the course. (unless an introduction course)

Q. Size of classes - If only two people are booked in will it still go ahead?
Yes we still go ahead with the class. A minimum of 2 students are need to run the course. (Some areas require 4 please check) This is so you have a practice partner to work on the day. We specialise in small classes to ensure one-to-one tuition.
Many other course providers offer larger classes with 25 - 35 people in them. They learn the same technique but as the classes are larger it takes longer to teach, thus making it more expensive and more training days.
Our one-day courses only take a maximum of 6 students per class.

Q. How can I learn everything in one day?
You would already have read the workbook training manual before attending the practical training day.
This covers Anatomy and Physiology, Health & Safety, Contraindications, History of the Massage, Client Consultation, Insurance and much more. On the days training, we concentrate mainly on the practical and learning the massage sequence.

Q. Do I need Anatomy & Physiology or Previous Experience in Massage to attend your Courses?
Anatomy & Physiology is NOT required by the insurance companies for some of our courses and these courses are suitable for beginners as well as experienced therapists. If a course does have entry requirements or previous experience needed it will state on the course page.
We do recommend also completing an Anatomy & Physiology Diploma @ £95 or Level 3 Diploma Course @ £175. We offer this as a home study/distance learning course. We would also recommend our home study Health & Safety Level 3 Diploma only 15 hours @ £55.

Q. When will I get my certificate and what will it say?
Certificates are given on the day, only once students have demonstrated that they have absorbed the information presented during the day and after applying a satisfactory treatment observed by the tutor. (Final exam and assessment) and completion of question paper required. You will receive a Natural Therapy Studio Diploma
To ensure that we carry out good practice, should the tutor feel that you would benefit from further training, your certification will be held back and you will offered the opportunity to attend the next available course that has a space, which you will be required to pay again in full. This is rare but we would not want to send out students, when the tutor felt they were unsafe in any way. You must reach the correct standard to enable them to issue you with a certificate. We would recommend reading the course training manual sent to you before your course.
You may be asked to complete case studies by your tutor. Before a certificate is given (this will help with your practice and learning)

Q. How do I make payment?

Q. What are CPD Points?
All our courses have been awarded CPD points (Continuing Professional Development). There are a certain amount of points required by the various Governing Bodies (IFPA, FHT, BABTAC etc) to ensure that members are continually learning and up to date with various therapies.

Q. How do I book on a course?
Go to our booking form page. Complete booking form and make deposit payment
You can pay by Cheque, Postal Order, Paypal (fees apply) in our shop or Bank Transfer.
Once you have made you deposit payment, your course manual will be emailed to you to print off. (Manual's can be posted to you at a cost of �7 each) Please bring manual to your training day.

Q. Do we have a Final Exam
On the practical training day. You will be required to complete a final exam, an assessment of the routine, you have learnt.
Most courses have question to be answered before the course. This requires some pre course reading of the manual, emailed prior to course date.

Q. Do I need to bring anything to the course?
This is a list of what�may be required to bring to your course with you. Your tutor will let you know before the course.
Do I need to bring anything?
- The Training Manual
- Thin strap vest top or vest top (men) (IHM, OFM, Hopi)
- Loose trousers that roll up to the knee (TFM only)
- A packed lunch
- A bottle of water
- Jumper (after receiving treatment you may get cold)
- A set of Biosun Ear Candles (or buy on the day from tutor) (Hopi only)
- Socks of slippers for comfort
- Hair band for long hair
- Do not wear jewelry
- Dressing gown or bath robe (Body, Hot stone, Thai Herb, Aroma, Bamboo, Sports)
- X2 large towels to sufficiently cover your body for massage (Body, Hot stone, Thai Herb, Aroma, Bamboo, Sports)
- X2 hand towels to wrap placement stones (Body, Hot stone, Thai Herb, Aroma, Sports,Bamboo)

Q. Moblie Tuition Service
Mobile Tuition
We realise that it may not always be possible for you to travel to our venues to attend a courses. The Natural Therapy Studio offers a Mobile Tutor service.
To qualify for our service, there should be a minimum of four students who want to learn. All you need to do is provide the venue, a saloon or private home.
You also need to supply chairs or couches, then we can come to you. *Travel and tutor accommodation payable between students.*

Terms & Conditions
Cancelling a course will incur the following fees
Cancelation of a course (if you cancel your course)
- All courses cancelled up to 7 days before the course start date: 100% of the fee still applies. (no refund will be given)
- Course date change £15 admin fee will apply
- No date change 7 days before course start date
- All deposits are non refundable
If the required numbers of students are not met your course will be rescheduled. This is not a cancellation of the course. The course would not have run due to minimum numbers of students not being met.

If you already have insurance. It is your responsibility to check with them that they will cover the course you wish to learn before booking. We provide details in your manuals of insurance companies who you can get cover with after completing your course. You are covered by your teachers insurance policy for your training course.

Q. Private lessons
Private lessons are available, ask for full details
We offer 1-2-1 sessions in some areas. Please check each course. A model is required. You will not receive a treatment, but provide one on your model.

Q. Beginners to massage
Complete beginners who do not have A&P or a massage background
New students may need more than one day to complete the course.
If the tutor feels you require more massage practice, you would need to go away and practice at home.
*You can pay and book onto the next available course till your reach the required standard to pass the course.
*To ensure that we carry out good practice, should the tutor feel that you would benefit from further training, your certification will be held back and you will offered the opportunity to attend the next available course that has a space, which you will be required to pay again in full.

Q. Intensive One-Day Courses
We offer intensive one-day courses (we recommend you read your course training manual sent to you before the course). You need to be in good health and ready to study on you training day.
Please inform you tutor if you have any medical conditions.
Do not drink alcohol 48 hours before course as you will be dehydrated.
Please ask if you are unsure if this course is right for you.

Karen is a great teacher, full of enthusiasm and her style of teaching

I really can’t think of anything in the structure of the course that you could improve on. Your guidance and tutorial was excellent, I was really impressed with the manual that you gave us. Such detailed manuals are not often supplied and it was such a help. It helped me remember absolutely everything as I did the treatment since. The diagrams are so helpful.
I hope I can join you again for some further training. There are a lot of courses I would like to do!
