Entry requirements: Professional Practitioner Course - prior requirements
The course is open to Reiki attuned/initiated practitioners of any lineage or school and at any Reiki level, provided the following requirements have been met.
Minimum of Reiki first degree/level
Attuned/initiated into Reiki by a Reiki Master, person to person, for an absolute minimum of 1 attunement/initiation
Copies of Reiki certificates
Copy of Reiki lineage
Experience of giving treatments (portfolio of evidence)
Awareness of National Occupational Standards for Reiki
Ongoing personal practice i.e. self-treatments, in Reiki
This course can be tailored to the individual practitioner and taken as Distance learning and/or in classroom setting in Bristol.
The Reiki Professional Practitioner Diploma will be issued at the end of the course provided all the required standards have been met and TMA’s received.
Registered & Accredited with CAM and The Guild this course has been awarded 9 CPD points.
The Reiki Connection Reiki Professional Practitioner Diploma course will be mindful of the framework to be set by the Reiki Council, 2008, for the recommended requirements needed to be registered as a Reiki Professional Practitioner. The course is currently based on the National Occupational Standards for Reiki as defined by the Reiki Regulatory Working Group and Skill for Health, the Government endorsed organisation involved in Voluntary Self Regulation for Complementary Therapies.
This course is not a substitute for the teaching of Reiki in the traditional /any format. No attunements will be given; no Reiki training will be given.
It is a course to explain and expand the giving of Reiki in as a Professional Reiki Practitioner in professional setting eg. Government institutions etc., where it is felt a recognised form of accreditation will, at some time in the future, be required.
As, and when, any changes are made to the National Occupation Standards set jointly by Skills for Health and the Reiki Council; these will be introduced into the course syllabus.
On application / acceptance the manual will be provided for the distance learning modules
