We will be offered 2 types of course.
Distance learning only
Option one: Teacher training in Hatha Yoga (distance learning theory, own practice and reflective journals – insurable) Total learning: 150 hours
2 pratical days and home study
Option two: Teacher training in Hatha Yoga (distance learning theory, own practice and reflective journals, plus 2 practical days – insurable and eligible for IICT membership) Total learning  200hrs

Course prices
Option 1
Cost: £550 with standard anatomy & physiology (A&P) for Yoga
Cost: £650 with level 3 A&P for Yoga/massage
Cost: £420 without A&P (A&P qualification required, Body massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Nursing degree, physio, sports science degree, A'level human biology ect)
Option 2
Cost: £850 with standard anatomy & physiology (A&P) for Yoga
Cost: £950 with level 3 A&P for Yoga/massage
Cost: £720 without A&P (A&P qualification required, Body massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Nursing degree, physio, sports science degree, A'level human biology ect)
 
Accredited and recognised by BGI insurance, Wesminster Ind insurance, Memebership with IICT & CMA *for option 2*
 
Natural Therapy Studio combines the best elements of industry recognised Yoga Teacher Training courses and gives each student a high quality, flexible and competitively priced training package that involves:

•   **2 practical training days individually or in pairs/small groups with flexible availability (*with options for additional training days if required)**option 2 only**

•    FREE DVD of suggested routine for beginners class

•    1:1 mentoring/support available from tutor/assessor per week via e-mail/phone/Skype

•    Distance learning with computer based materials that are e-mailed

•    Attendance at Yoga classes ‘signed for’ by your chosen Yoga teacher plus records and reflective journals of home practice and teaching practice with friends and family

Course entrance criteria
*At Least 12 months experience of personal Yoga practice

*Flexible to fit around your individual requirements e.g. 6 to 24 months or on completion of all required course components

Anatomy and physiology for Yoga
Yoga postures (asanas), effects, benefits and modifications X3 lessons
Origins, pathways and philosophies of Yoga
Psychology of Yoga and Mindfulness
Breathing techniques for Yoga
Meditation and Relaxation
Routine planning (produce a lesson plan)
Delivering routines (assessment)
Setting up a Yoga Teaching business (finding premises, finding clients, advertising, charging, record keeping, self-employment etc)

Attendance at Yoga classes
Signed for by your chosen Yoga teacher(s)
 
Home practice record and reflective journal
Individual home Yoga practice during course with reflective journal entries
 
Teaching practice record and reflective journal
Teaching practice with friends and family during the course with reflective journal entries
