Our Aromatherapy Massage course will teach you to select, blend and safely use essential oils to suit your clients needs. Once the course has been completed you will be confident in how to conduct a consultation and how to provide a full aromatherapy massage. This course will appeal to Holistic Therapists and anyone interested in complimentary and natural medicines.

Used correctly, essential oils can provide an invaluable aid to relaxation, stress relief, beauty care and to the improvement of health and well-being.

Part 1 of Course

Anatomy & Physiology Level 3 Diploma Course - home study

Includes the recommended book for the A&P Level 3 Diploma

Home study hours: 60 hours plus revision & test (70 hours in total)

This course is recommend for students who wish to study an in-depth course in Anatomy and Physiology which will allow you to understand how the body works and how it will apply to your further study. Allowing you to go onto part 2.

This home study course part provides information to gain an accredited Diploma with 13 A&P units. You will receive feedback on each completed unit. On course completion your assessor will conduct a 20 question telephone test with you.
This course is conducted as an via email. We will email out the work packs/units for you to complete & return in a time scale that is convenient to you. We then mark your completed units & return them to you with feedback on your progress. On completion of the work packs/units we will phone you with 20 questions to test your knowledge & understanding. 70% pass is required within 3 attempts at 20 questions.
This qualification will form the foundation to build your therapy career and is suitable as a gateway for non-medical physical therapies. It is a reinforcement to learning for those taking skills qualifications, those returning to therapies and for those progressing to further qualifications.

How long is this course?
Part 1 is Home study, therefore the length of how long it takes is up to you. However it is advisable that you should take no longer than 4-6 months. This is for the self motivated! You will be supplied with course work packs/units via email. And the recommended Anatomy and Physiology book posted to you to help with your units. It is FREE with the course.

What are the entry requirements for this course? No previous knowledge is required. However a good command of verbal and written English is required. It is also advisable that you have reasonable computer skills to enable you to email and open attachments. You need to have office word or compatible version of software. An active email address and phone number.

Over the Two days

Day one - Introduction to the twenty oils we are covering, their origins, constitutes etc. Carrier oils.
Mixing and blending of oils.
Blends for different skin types
The Body massage routine.

Day Two - short test on the oils that has been covered on day one. To do a full treatment, mixing oils for the ‘client’ and using in the treatment.

Home study - 20 hours Pre-course reading are required to be completed before training day. This allows for an intensive two day practical study.

Between day 1 & day 2

20 Case studies done at home, ideally 10 people required to do done twice or 6-7 people three times.

You have up to 3 months to complete your case studies and arrange with you tutor the final assessment date

Everything you need to learn Aromatherapy is included in Day 1 of this course. You will then need to buy the 20 oil kit for your case studies for this course.

Kits: Aromatherapy oils will need to be purchased after the 1st days training to start your case studies. Our supplier offers 2 kits made for our training which you can purchase.Call the office for prices
