This is a reference DVD to accompany the Body Massage part of the course. You can purchase and watch before or after your course. (Normally £10)
Our Body Massage combined with A&P L3 - is priced to be accessible and affordable for all. Everyone who has an interest in massage and therapy should be able to attend and learn about massage if they wish. We have combined home study with a day practical training to keep the cost down. Aimed more at the mature student not wishing to go back to traditional College with the younger students. We also have a FREE DVD offer. This is a reference DVD showing the massage routine that you have learnt on the course. Excellent for re-capping and a great visual aid for learners. Our classes are small no more than 6 students per class. Average is 2-3 students (we do offer 1-2-1 private classes also) Your case studies/practice is done as home in your own time after the course.

Anatomy & Physiology Level 3 Diploma Course - home study

Home study hours: 60 hours plus revision & test (70 hours in total)
This course is recommend for students who wish to study an in-depth course in Anatomy and Physiology which will allow you to understand how the body works and how it will apply to your further study. Allowing you to go onto part 2.
This home study course part provides information to gain an accredited Diploma with 13 A&P units. You will receive feedback on each completed unit. On course completion your assessor will conduct a 20 question telephone test with you.
This course is conducted as an via email. We will email out the work packs/units for you to complete & return in a time scale that is convenient to you. We then mark your completed units & return them to you with feedback on your progress. On completion of the work packs/units we will phone you with 20 questions to test your knowledge & understanding. 70% pass is required within 3 attempts at 20 questions.
This qualification will form the foundation to build your therapy career and is suitable as a gateway for non-medical physical therapies. It is a reinforcement to learning for those taking skills qualifications, those returning to therapies and for those progressing to further qualifications.

How long is this course?
Part 1 is Home study, therefore the length of how long it takes is up to you. However it is advisable that you should take no longer than 4-6 months. This is for the self motivated! You will be supplied with course work packs/units via email. And the recommended Anatomy and Physiology book posted to you to help with your units. It is FREE with the course.

What are the entry requirements for this course? No previous knowledge is required. However a good command of verbal and written English is required. It is also advisable that you have reasonable computer skills to enable you to email and open attachments. You need to have office word or compatible version of software. An active email address and phone number.
Part 2 of course (pratical date arranged once passed part 1)
This Body massage part of the course is designed to train students to a professionally competent level in order to perform a comprehensive range of massage techniques. You will learn the practical application of a relaxing full body massage and have a comprehensive information manual for reference in the future.
Body Massage may be applied to any region of the body specifically or generally in a routine.This qualification aims to ensure that massage is provided safely and effectively according to its intended purpose and having regard to its suitability in terms of the clients physical condition. You will learn basic Swedish massage techniques.
Home study - 1 day Pre-course reading and questions are required to be completed before the training day. (emailed to you) This allows for an intensive one day practical study of the routine.
